RS Viola

Still getting rid of all the horses who looked like ponies on their references! Since Viola is one of the main characters is was a cruelety to leave her like this, so here have an update! She looks a little like an arabian here also when she is none. I think that comes from drawing so many arabians lately!

This is Viola. I haven't drawn any pictures of her yet, so I had to design her. I based her design of a beautiful Holsteiner mare I saw in Nübel this year. Maybe some people will protest now and say that she looks similar to character X, but seriously people, this is a natural horsecoat. get over it (I heard comparings like this too much lately XD)

Personality: Viola is a very helpful and nice mare who is a pure optimist. She's very clever and adept. She loves to talk with others and to go on adventures. She's very brave, but she can't fight very well, so she often is injured.

Story: Viola was born in Crystalfalls, one of the biggest lands in Mereldia. She grew up there with her cousin and best friend Charice. They did everything together and were the best friends. But when they walked trough the forest once, which was Violas idea, they crossed paths with a wolf pack which attacked them. Viola was able to get away, but the wolves got Charice. At the next day she returned from the forest without even a scratch. Everyone wondered about that, but Viola was just happy that her friend was alive. She started to wonder about it since Charice disappeared every night from this day on. One night suddenly some strange demons attacked. It were shadow demons, so physical attacks didn't work on them, the herd was helpless and so was Viola. She nearly died, but then Charice appeared and somehow managed to defeat the demons. Viola couldn't explain how and she also couldn't explain why her friend looked so much different than usual. Charice desperately tried to apologized for not telling her friend anything about it sooner, but then Viola lost her consciousness. When she woke up again she got to know that Charice died in the fight. From then on she changed. Viola became more silent, less lively and always mourned about the old days.
