Why does the first art of the year always seem to be a Reference Sheet? :'D Last year it was Petiletta, this year it's Sylk.
So, who is Sylk? I doubt that anyone would remember it, but he was briefly mentioned already in this little part of Jason's backstory: Since I have been focusing so much on establishing the sibling-like realtionship between Jason, Arisa and Melody, most of you probably have already forgotten, or never knew that Jason has his own squad. Ayanna is Jason's best friend, Perez and Fenaenon come slightly second and Sylk is that guy. He is the asshole and is more the antagonist to the whole story. I don't know if what Jason and Sylk have can be considered friendship. More like they were friends once, but at some point started to drift apart and now hate each other. But instead of leaving each other alone, they constantly get into fights or just verbally abuse each other. Something like a love-hate relationship.

Now you have another fire mage who you can ship Jason with! Congratulations!

And on regards to the marking-thing: there will be a full explanation to that on the Caspanas website soon, so stay tuned! ;D

Personality:
Sylk has always been the typical problem kid. He does not get along with most people, is egoistical and takes slight enjoyment from seeing others being uncomfortable due to what he said or did. This is the side of him that he always likes to show other people and is also in some way proud of. What no one knows and even he is only partially aware of, is that he also has another side to him. A side that is more forthcomming and caring. He despises those feelings and therefore always tries to bury them deep inside of him. This leads him to act impulsive most of the time and also makes him easy to anger. He has a very short temper and often loses it when things do not go his way.
