My little girl really needed a new Reff! ;u; I really like these new Reff Sheet layouts, especially because I do not have to draw fullbody horses four times on a sheet anymore when I draw a Caspana. I guess that some of the info below could be new to you, so I recommend you to read it.
And yes, I again did not fill out everything. *sigh* I'm still a little sick (caught a bad cold) and my back hurts very badly after jogging (very bad idea!) just now. I will fill out everything as soon as possible. Just be happy that the general infomation is complete already

Reputation: Sunny enjoys quite the high rank in the herd. Since only mares can lead the herd her father was not allowed to do so and had to give the leadership to a far relative to the bloodline of the leaders. Though Chrissi is the lead mare now, Sunny has the "pure blood" to be a lead mare and so is destinied to take Chrissi's place someday. She is not a lead mare yet, but often already behaves like one, or at least partly. She bosses around everyone she does not like and uses her high rank to keep nearly everyone away from her to get some silence.
She gained an even higher reputation when she started the guarding job at night. No one of the herd (except her sister and her best friend Lotta) knows about her curse she is seen as an increadibly strong and intelligent mare and most others, even some adults, look up to her.

Magic: Sunny's magic has been sealed so that she would not fall for the darkness. It's a very old seal that was once created by Duana. The seal was passed down to everyone of her family, since the talent for dark magic ran in it. The seal prevents her from using any magic at all, but through strong emotions it can get cracks. Eventually it could even break, but this would end fatal.

[AMBITIOUS]

Sunny always strives for perfection. She is perfectionistic and always tries to get the best results of what she is doing. She never gives up before she has not achieved a goal and often even continiues when it is obvious that she cannot suceed.

[BRAVE]

If there is a danger or trouble you can bet that Sunny will be somehow wrapped up in it sooner or later. Though she does not have the ability to bring herself into trouble, she often comes to aid others. She is very loyal to her family and friends and would throw herself into any danger just to protect them. She also is not afraid to tell others her opinion or to stand up for others even if the whole world would then be against her.

[ASKANT]

She does not trust strangers at all. Every time she meets a trespasser in her teritory she is highly sceptical towards them. Sometimes she even plays the naive girl, just to have a secret plan A, B and C to get rid of the stranger. Most of the time she either fights or scares strangers off. Also she has a hard time trusting others and always tries to do everything on her own.

[EASILY ANNOYED]

Through the night guard and therefore the hiding at night she has not many nerves left for any form of bothering. She very easily is annoyed by even the slighest problems or "wrong" behaviors of others. She hates it when things do not go as she plans and then often freaks out immidiately when things so wrong.

[FREE SOUL]

Despite that she grew up in a herd and with a loving family she has the strong urge to flee all of it. She prefers wandering around alone, just being for herself and imagining places that lie elsewhere. Due to her rank as future lead mare she is not allowed to leave the herd, which is something that often bothers her. All she wishes for is to see more of the world and to wander around to discover new things. She loves the silence of nature and often steals away to just be on her own and enjoying to run around green meadows or the trees in the forest.

[SECRETIVE]

Sunny is a huge secret keeper. She locks up a lot of herself and her wishes inside and puts on a mask to that others can't even guess what's really going on inside her. All her secrets have to be kept secrets, since she swore to never ever let anyone come near her. In her inside she is highly afraid of everything, she drowns herself in self-doubt and she is very shy. Nothing of this ever comes to the surface though. She never tells anyone of her herd of her curse or any truth refering to her work as a night guard. She is a good actress and therefore a good liar, so that no one found out about anything of it yet.

[CARING]

Even though she would not admit it, she is a very caring girl. When there is someone in need of help she offers her best support and can actually be very sweet then. It is one of her secret traits that comes to the surface more often than she would like it to.

[SKILLED]

Sunny is quite skilled when it comes to physical abilities like speed or fighting. When we start to talk about her social abilities though she lacks some skill on a few places. Otherwise she is a quite clever girl who can easily get used to new things and react quickly and thoughtful in difficult situations.

[QUICK LEARNER]

Also when it often does not seem like it Sunny in fact is quite a nerd when it comes to certain things. She is always eager to learn more about things she might need later in life or thins that just interest her. She can concentrate very well and that combined with her stubborness and determination makes her a quite good and quick learner.

[STUBBORN]

In the whole herd you do not meet any horse that is more stubborn than Sunny. If she got something into her head she sticks to it and it is very hard, if not even impossible, to change her mind. This trait becomes quite fatal when it comes to judging others because she sticks to the first impression someone gives her and usually does not change her mind about others. She usually is simply too stubborn to admit that she changed her mind.

[FRIENDLY]

Deep down Sunny is actually one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She can be sweet and caring and would even go to extremes to protect her family and friends. She always tries to do the right thing, though she not always tries to be the nicest horse around. She is in no way evil or wicked, but has a kind anf friendly core. Sunny also is no angel though and defenitely does not act friendly towards everyone. More the opposite: she acts friendly and kind to only a few ones she trusts.

[DETERMINED]

When Sunny sets her mind to something she will do everything possible to suceed. Giving up is not an option for her and in some cases she would even go so far to put her life on the line for it.

[SAD]

She usually hides her real feelings behind a mask and therefore no one usually sees her sadness. She is sad and frustrated about not having any chance to live the life she wants to live and that her future is already planned out. Sometimes, when everything becomes too much for her, she just runs away for a few days while she stays somewhere distant from others to cry her eyes out, only to return with her mask put back on.

Sunny was born and grew up in the Caspana Herd which lives in the land Irendigo. At the time she was born there was just one other foal in the herd. She did not get along good with the other filly though, so she already learned at a young age to how to play alone and do things herself. She quickly tended to like just her own company more than the company of someone else and was often caught wandering off to be alone.

When she was nearly two years old a stranger entered their land, saying that he was a messenger from another herd. Sunny later learned that it was a member of the herd her mother had been in before she joined the Caspana herd. The messenger said that Charlotte's father, Sunny's grandpa, was very ill and would probably soon die. Sunny's mother desperately wanted to see her father one last time before this would happen and quickly decided to go. She did not want to leave Sunny and Doscado, her mate, alone though and so brought them with her. She was already pregnant with Pearl, Sunny's little sister, at this time. It was a long journey to the south and Sunny did see and learn a lot on this trip.

Sunny already turned two years old when they finally arrived at her mother's old herd. She had been excited to get to meet her relatives, but it did not turn out as she expected it to be because the whole herd thought bad of that her mother left them for a stallion from another herd. Sunny, who was still a little filly at that time, was scared by the harassment of the other herd and ran away from them. While Charlotte stayed by her ill father's side, Doscado searched for Sunny and only found her a little after nightfall, playing on the beach. No one knows what Sunny did that day, but whatever it was: it had changed her. Since then she seemed to be more confident and also more joyful.

Sunny and her parents eventually went back to their herd after Charlotte's father died. The journey did not go quite as planned though. After Sunny's mother had to give birth after about half of the way it was hard to find a save way to the now weaker mother and the newborn filly. When the family had nearly reached their destination they were attacked by a herd of thieves. The herd kidnapped the newborn filly Pearl and thretened to kill her if the family would ever again come near them.

This event changed Sunny and her parents. Especially Sunny. She become more distrustful towards strangers and also a little more bitter because of the loss of her sister. The incident did not affect Sunny just quite as much as it affected her parents though. Her mother became paranoid and overcaring for Sunny while her father became more bitter and strict. From then on Sunny was not allowed to wander off again. She was to stay near the herd and especially to never ever set hoof in the forest. Sunny understood her parents' worries since she also feared to be taken away from them, like her sister was, but still she did not always follow the rules her parents made. She still wandered off, also when it become more rare, and still prefered to not spend time with anyone but herself.

She lived like this for years, until her mother became sick. No one, not even the herd's healer knew how to heal Charlotte's illness and time was starting to run short. Sunny, who was nearly six years old by then, did not want to sit idly by and watch her mother dying. Determined to find a cure she ran off and even left Irendigo, which was something she had not done for years. After weeks of searching she finally had found someone who knew about the illness and who could also tell her the cure. It was an old, experienced mare who said that the only cure was something called "Moonlight Herbs". She said that they could be found in Jemanda, which was a part of Irendigo, near water and that they would only bloom at night. Sunny immidiately started her journey back to Irendigo, but unfortunately did not have much luck since she crossed ways with the very same herd that kidnapped her sister four years ago.

Though she had became bigger and stronger she was yet not strong and skilled enough to keep up against a whole herd of practiced fighters. They forced her to join them but that did not stop Sunny from trying to escape. Every single minute she tried to get away to return to Irendigo and heal her mother's illness, if it wasn't yet too late. And then there was Pearl. She was a four year old mare by then and did not seem to know anything about her actual family. It also did not look like she would like her herd very much and that she too wanted to escape them. She told Sunny that it was impossible and that she shoul just give up. Something unexpecting happened though. A pack of demons from the north found the herd and was determined to make every single horse their prey. In the mess Sunny and Pearl managed to escape, while Sunny became injuried when she tried to fight off a demon which was following them.

On the way back to Irendigo Sunny told Pearl of her real family and what had happened all these years ago. At first the younger mare did not  believe Sunny, but she came to believe it more and more the nearer they got to Irendigo and eventually the embraced the thought of actually having a loving family. All the years where she lived with the herd of thieves left scars on her though. She was still a thief and a liar, but Sunny was determined to change that and bring her sister back to the good way of life.

When the two of them finally reached Jemanda, the eastern part of Irendigo, they were disappointed to not find a single of the moonlight herbs near lakes, ponds or rivers. Sunny became desperate and even started to pray to the gods, something she actually never did. The two sisters nearly wanted to give up when something unexpected happened. When they wanted to take a break at yet another lake Sunny walked into the water to clean the injury she still had. As soon as she tried to climb out of the water again she realised that she could not move back anymore and that something was dragging her into the middle of the lake. Before she could realise what was happening she was pulled under water. Pearl then panicked. She recognized it to be some sort of magic and therefore looked out for the caster of the spell. When she saw a demon mare not far away grinning at her she did the only thing she could think of: attacking her to distracter her from the spell so that Sunny could be released. While fighting the demon mare Pearl got a hold of the demon's necklace and threw it into the lake. She thought of it of a good distraction, but little did she know that it was the necklace that kept the demon mare alive. As soon as the necklace slid of the demon's neck it vanished into thin air. When the necklace hit the water though, it started to glow. Sunny was now able to swim to the surface again and breathe.

After Sunny recovered and after she had a little freakout-moment when Pearl told her what happened, the two continued their search for the herbs.
